So, I'm easing back into LJ and fandom after several weeks where my head was stuffed with other shit - and yes, I am easing back into writing, too, promise - and what way to better to this than with a meme? ;P
...And I still can't write parentheses, which sucks btw. I think I need a new laptop. GAH.

The "Me me me!" Meme:
1. Make a list of 5 things you can see without getting up:
- stacks of books left over from my stupid thesis. I really need to return them to the library soon...
- stacks of dirty clothes, because I couldn't be bothered to do the laundry while writing the damn thing.
- candy... I bought loads and plan to spend the entire weekend in bed with my laptop and my internet and my tv and doing absolutely nothing that is in any way important for real life.
- my Lego Viking boat. I got this as a present for my birthday 3 years ago - at university, we studied Vikings at that time - and I just spent one hour lovingly assembling it. Need to find a space to put it, though...
- lots and lots of Pinto Christmas cards... I'll never take them down!!! Though maybe I will, I already had some weirded out questions as to why I have pictures of gay people on my wall... ;P
2. How do you style your hair?
I'm usually too lazy to style it, and blow-drying it takes ages. So, usually a pony tail or, if I'm feeling adventurous, a hair clip I bought in Sydney.
3. What are you wearing now?
Hee. PJs, or what I use as them. Jogging pants, a t-shirt, my old Limp Bizkit hoody and a jacket on top - it's cold in here!
4. What's your occupation?
Student of archaeology, still. Not for very long, though, now that the thesis is FINALLY done, all that's left are the exams in summer... ohmigogohmigogohmigod!!!
5. What do you hear right now?
Nothing... No wait, church bells - Bamberg has about 20 churches, and they all have bells. And they all ring at every hour. Something you have to get used to if you want to live here... I mostly like it, except maybe from in the mornings. And my roomie rummaging through the kitchen.
6. Who was the last person you hugged?
My Dad, when he left on Wednesday after I'd handed in my thesis. He helped me so much, it was awesome!
7. What was/is for dinner?
Um... probably bread. I'm too lazy to cook today. And some kiwis - I'm kinda addicted to them right now. And candy and icecream!!!
8. What did you do today?
Nothing. Nothing and it was awesome! Well, okay, I read some fanfiction and I trolled some kink memes, but apart from that... nothing. Ahhh freedom...
9. What was the last text message you received?
My mom telling me about a concert this weekend in Bamberg, subtly hinting I need to go out more and go see more cultural stuff. Nooo thanks, mom, I'm doing absolutely nothing this weekend!!!
10. What websites do you always visit when you go online?
LJ, various kink memes, currently the website of a computer magazine in case they can help me with my keyboard problems, one or two websites with online games. Still addicted to room escape games...
11. What was the last thing you bought?
Erm. Food. And candy. And coke. And some more candy and food... before that, um. Thesis stuff. Oh! The A-team movie on DVD.
12. If you could afford to go anywhere in the world, where would you go?
I really really want to go back to Australia. And visit New Zealand, and the US, and lots of countries in Asia. Right now though... any place where it's warm and there's an ocean I can lie next to. I need a vacation!!!
13. Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Hopefully with a job working as an archaeologist, uh, somewhere. I'm not too picky...
14. Favourite animal?
Cat. Cat cat cat, I miss my cat. I want to have one again, and I really really like Egyptians Maus. Gorgeous!! And would totally match all my Bastet figurines I have standing around... ;P
15. What are you doing this weekend?
NOTHING!!! Ahh... freedom. Well, doing stuff on the internet and finally writing some fanfics again. I NEED to continue Mirror!Pinto, and there's still that fluffy fic I promised someone, so... I'm doing nothing and I'm writing. Yeah, that's about it. Maybe go out one evening to celebrate my freedom, I'm not sure yet...
16. If you could play any musical instrument, which one would you play?
I learned the piano, but I forgot almost everything. I'd like to be able to do that... or maybe be the lead guitarist in a indie rock band, that would be awesome, too. We'd have an "ironic" stupid name and play at festivals and have lots of groupies. Then we'd get famous and high with success, start doing drugs and stop making good music. We'd split, and probably end up in embarassing tv shows like Big Brother or something, trying to stay famous... I think I'll go with the piano.
17. How are you?
Relieved and FREE, but of COURSE my lady pains started pretty much the minute I handed in my thesis, plus I got a cold at the same time. So... happy but grumpy and annoyed?
18. How much do you get paid?
Erm. I'm still a student, so... nothing. Parents pay for my flat and stuff... when I'm on excavation I get about 12 Euros per hour, which means about 500 Euros a week - something like 650 Dollars. But only in the summer...
19. What's the last thing you have regretted?
Forgetting to format the footnotes in my thesis - I didn't save it in one big file but several small ones, and I remembered to format the page numbers, but I forgot the footnotes. Means they start with 1 every few pages... Can't do anything about it right now, but my finicky and anal-retentive self hates it.
20. What's the last good movie you saw?
Erm... The A-team. I liked it very much, also, so much slash potential. And Asterix and Cleopatra, the old cartoon movie. I love it!!!
