Not doing any better with the entries
As I start to write I'm thinking--hmmm...when did I last post and what has been going on. Blah!!
Let's see:
The Craft Show... Went very well. It was a ton of fun to do but the ante-show nervous morning puking left a bit to be desired. Oh well. Next time I won't be nervous cause people actually bought stuff and I got tons of very sweet compliments. I even got an order!! I was heard to say many times over the course of the day, "Holy crap somebody just gave me money for something I made". The maniacal laughter didn't even frighten off the customers.
My birthday... Pretty good. Got lovely flowers and cards from my chillen--Yay!!. Angel DVDs and a Wire Jewellry book from my DH--Yay!!. Clothes from parents--double YAY!! We our going to JV to celebrate this Sunday. Big smile cause it reminds me of our 36hr long 1st date. I know, I know, what a slut. La La I'm not listening.
Kids at school... Report cards came and went and both boys are doing well. I've got Matt on a reward program cause the little turkey figures that he should only have to do the work if he wants to. Snicker--this is not going over well with the teacher. He makes me laugh. Picture this--he didn't want to do something and they were arguing back and forth. Once it was apparent to him that the arguing was not working he wrote No on a paper plate and held it up in her face. My little Union Brother is getting an early start. LOL
Kung Fu... Bryan has advanced to solid gold belt and Matt has advanced to the gold strip down the center belt. I'm still not sure how the Little Dragon (Matt's group) belts relate to the regular ones but they are both doing great.
DH... has been told that they are thrilled with him and want to make this postion permanent but we don't know exactly when this will all be official. I am sure enjoying the M-F thing though. I'm convinced that we have already spent more time together then in our whole married life. Too funny. Especially when you count the year he was off to war.
