Finally, a computer Web site that speaks to me and all women everywhere!
As a person with ovaries, I find computery things gross. Technology = icky, am I right, girls? (and shhhh, I don't want to admit this to too many people, but I'm kinda scared by computers too. I mean, they're for smart people, right?)
Ah, but here it is, girlfriend. I introduce you to Della.
Della products Della is the pastel-hued sister of Dell. And she'll be your friend, too. I sighed happily and let the images of women chatting with each other (yeah, sisterhood!) soothe my pink, fluffy soul.
I saw the link for "Tech Tips," but I was a little scared. It might have a bunch of confusing terms like "performance" and "Intel" and "linux." And what if it has a bunch of numbers I don't understand!?
But, oh, Della, you came through for me again. The page pops up with this reassuring statement:
"Once you get beyond how cute they are, you'll find that netbooks can do a lot more than check your email."
Sweet! You mean, I can, like, use my laptop for brainy things like work (y'know, that career thing I've been doing, for like, forever). Until now, I only thought to use them as another accessory while I'm carrying a chihuahua in my purse.
Thank you, Dell and Della, for understanding what women truly need.
