I'm so glad this work week is over. It's been a mess the last couple of days. First thing this morning I find out that we didn't get a grant I was expecting to get and I'm praying we're not too far behind in the fiscal goals for the year so far. Won't know until Monday, probably.
And I don't mind helping people out. In fact, it's something I enjoy. But I hate having to pick up someone else's part on a project (a project that is one of many critical aspects of the whole foundation's mission, complete with a nice grant to fund it), because they kept putting off doing the work. And, of course, the work that was done was incomplete and they condescended to me when I said I needed more of their notes -and stuff like the phone numbers of people they've already called. Y'know, complicated things to find. Pissed off.
Not looking forward to Monday.
I'm trying to unwind now. Just ate a very tasty dinner of a grilled cheese and mushroom sandwich with a glass of wine.
And I might watch another episode of The Office on Netflix while I'm at it.
Then I'll practice the new Rachel Brice video...
