review: one pound gospel
FINALLY!! my review for ONE POUND GOSPEL is here!! :] YATTA!! LOL!
okay! let's start!! :D
but first i'll give a little summary.
Hatanaka Kosaku is a talented boxer who turned pro at the age of 19, winning his debut match with a first round KO. He is talented, but he has no guts. His uncontrollable appetite is an even bigger problem. He can’t put himself in the right weight class, he runs out of energy because of hunger, and he gets knocked out while his eyes are set on food at the ringside. However, Kosaku’s life changed when he met Sister Angela, a novice nun in the convent near his boxing gym. She became the source of his power, and Kosaku fights only to win her heart. -wikipedia

my first impression on one pound gospel was, "i think its not that interesting," because its about sports or boxing, i really don't like some sports. im not that sporty that's why, but then i remembered ROOKIES, it was anticipated by many and it even has a movie now, and it was really great(even though i haven't watch it), and its about sports, baseball. then i thought that i'll just try watching one pound gospel, just for a minute. then when i already saw the first scene where kosaku(kame) is having a battle in the boxing ring then he suddenly smelled a takuyaki, he was distracted. he has a big appetite, that's why he can't resist any food he smell and see. then because of that he lost in the match. he was easily distracted by food, that is his problem. here's a picture of his expression when he smelled the takuyaki. . .
i know it doesn't looks so funny by just a single picture, so try watching it :D
after i've seen this scene i was like, "OMG! kame is so hilarious!" it's the first time i saw kame like that, because when im watching videos of toma during his junior days where kame is also there, he was shy, especially in the limbo video where kame was one of the players. and also after seeing this scene i was like stuck in watching it, and so my "just a minute thing" was broken. i finished it in just one whole day! LOL! thanks to the takuyaki part i can't take off my eyes from watching it. after watching it i said to myself "I HAVE A NEW WORLD RECORD FOR MYSELF!!" LOL!!
oh yeah!! and also. . .
yamada is a part of one pound! he is the son of the owner of the boxing gym where kosaku is in.
he is a bullied student here. for example. . .
the time when his classmates glued his book then he can't open it.
when his classmates hide his school shoes, so he went home with a slipper :(
POOR RYOSUKE!!
let's go back to kosaku, after losing the match he has to lose weight, and that's a big challenge for him. so one day when he is running at the park and he was so weak, VERY WEAK! he fall on the ground and then sister angela came, and gave him a tea.
after meeting sister angela his life changed. especially his life in boxing, sister angela was the one who made kosaku a champion.
their love story is so unique and unbelievable!! if you loved mizuki and sano, you'll also love kosaku and sister angela!! :D
in the end, sister angela quit being a nun
and then kosaku and she had a wedding!!
and they all lived happily ever after :D
i think what i did is both reviewing and telling the story! LOL! :D
