(no subject)
Couldn't get anything done I tried today. D had drama with his mom and had to leave work. She is running a fever today. He got to talk to the heart surgeon though and found out he didn't want her released, his dumb sister pushed it. Don't they know they shouldn't take the word of the crazy girl? She can be so dumb at times. Dave came over and borrowed the neighbors lawn mower and got most if the yard mowed by the time I came home. I had given up and opted to go to the antique mall to find a vanity chair for my bedroom. Bought an old school chair. I think I can refurbish it a little. It's only 15 bucks so its at least a start. I'm trying to go for a shabby chic look with repurposed things in there so maybe it will work. Also found four dining room chairs in good condition so I grabbed those. Got all 4 for $125. Usually that's how much one brand new chair costs. I'll probably redo those too. They have some dings and scratches. Also want to match the colors with what I got going on. I thought they were cute though and seem period correct, well better than modern I suppose. Someday I'll have pictures. I don't get into that so much because the kids don't know yet. I do like to show before and afters on FB. I'll keep you posted. LJ isn't always the greatest place for sharing photos...
Thinking of all the fun projects at the other house I'm kinda bored over here. I love doing all that stuff.
