Americans eat too much.
Some people seem to think that it's the fault of other nations that food costs so much, or that Americans eat so much. That's a lie. We're a super fat country and we eat way more than we should, and fast food restaurants and sit down places are making your plates fuller and fuller. I went to McD's the other night and I just wanted chicken nuggets. It only cost $.70 or so more to get a drink and fries. I don't want to have to pay MORE for less food, and until that changes, the fatties run the food industry and those who care about their body, weight and health have to suffer.

I bet if restaurants slowly reduced their portions (and eventually prices), consumers wouldn't notice. Even if they did, they wouldn't stop eating the food they want just because they have to get a little less of it, I'd bet.

Canadian's think 'Going Green' is a marketing ploy".
I'm glad someone said it. People want life easy, and that means saving the planet, too. If you wrap everything up in a nice "Green" package, people will buy it even if it isn't the truly ecological choice.
