alright so: lets recap-
-yesterday-
kicked ass! Before getting picked up by my mom, I hung out w/ Diacca (ciarra) and Aimee for a few and it was awesome as almost-- I'd just like to throw out a huuuuge I FRIGGIN LOVE YOU to you girls- you guys fucking rock my life! No one makes me laugh so hard. Miss you guys already! Anyway- ciarra gave me Love Actually- WHICH I WATCHED TODAY- and it established christmas starting for me. Came home w/ my mommy but wasn't feeling very good (i think i caught something evil) anyway, Jen, Chrissy, and Kenny came over and we made cookies and watched Muppets Christmas Carol and Christmas on Sesame Street!! Had so much fun. Went to bed early cuz I still didn't feel well but stayed wiiiide awake for hours.
-today- the most numbing/weird day ever. Went shopping w/ Jen and Kenny (jen and I got to talk which is allllways something I love) and I spent a buttload of money in Target... ouch. all together, christmas raped me $400.. now 400 may not seem like a lot- but to anyone from MASSART who knows my money situation- they'll toss a tear my way. In actually though-- I'm SO EXCITED about the gifts that I got for my family. especially my mom. see here's the thing- my dad really kind of sucks. The first thing he said to me when he got home from work today was how he 'fuckin hates christmas- it's a pain in the fuckin ass,i just hate it' (in the past year, he suddenly picked up the belief that it was ok and even cool to swear like that in front of me) So yeah- apparently, he didn't follow through with getting my mom anything nice this year (not that he has eeever gotten her anything nice) but this year he had my hopes up when he said he'd get her a ring. Turns out that he didn't want to buy a ring and then have to resize it- because it takes too much time and energy driving allll the way to the jewelers just to see his wife extatically happy. oh no. instead he went to filenes and bought her 2 bathrobes (last year he bought her flannel pj's, which made her feel old... a pattern?) SHE BOUGHT HIM A KAYAK among other things she put thought into -he got her bathrobes... so yeah.. I'm glad that I went all out for my mom because I know no one else did. not that presents make everything better because that's just stupid- but my mom realllly tries to make christmas special for everyone and my brother and father could give a shit.
Shmeh- anyways yeah. Tonight I stayed in so I could hang out w/ her a little and we watched a christmas story and wrapped gifts for my ungrateful dad and brother. I'm pretty psyched about tomorrow being christmas eve. Kenny, Kendra, and I will have our annual present exchange (even though kenny forgot about it hahah what a tool) and then other traditions will kick in.
I kind of miss my room at school. I've only been home for a day and have decided that I much more comfortable there than here now. I had more stuff to do it seems. It's 12:14 right now and wiiiide awake. Maybe I'll paint... anyway. Merry Christmas guys. whoever reads this- chances are that I love you in some way.
