Did you know that most NLP training centers tell their students not to work on "heavy" or "painful" things?
Have you noticed that Marin-style is still done (mostly) sitting down, while most other NLP involves standing?
Does it catch your attention that our kind of NLP doesn't assume that "negative feelings" are necessarily things to be avoided or destroyed?
Have you ever noticed yourself thinking, "Gee, Marin-style NLP regards the past as a proper and useful domain of inquiry, whereas a lot of other NLP holds that attention to the past is pointless or counter-productive? Truly, I wonder just why that is?"
Are you curious about what the Map was doing before it stopped being the Territory?
Well, if these or any other questions have been bothering you, or causing lingering incarnational uncertainty, by all means come to our August "Evening with Carl." The evening's format will include Carl's doing some lecture-style talking about the history of NLP in general. We'll then be able to discuss, in an interactive format, how all of that evolved itself into Marin-style NLP in particular. This delightful and engaging August evening will give everyone who attends a better sense of themselves, and of the magic of the really quality change work for which NLP Marin is so well known.
You bring your curiosity, questions, and observations or obsessions. We will provide Carl and an assortment of wholesome, house brand snacks from a nationally known big box retailer.
