*KICKS FIREFOX.* REFHDF DELETE MY POST, WILL YOU!? DELETE THIS! *strangle*

No, but I looked up on it and a lot of sources said that Gary thought Cinnabar was just a vacation spot. Of course, that's just a speculation. He could have went there, saw that it wasn't, defeated the gym leader. After all, he does take over the gym later on in the games. Even when he becomes a researcher in the anime, he ends up staying at Cinnabar. He revives fossilized Pokemon - sound familliar? Did I mention Gary looked hawt in a lab coat?

Oh, right, Lavendar! I loved Lavendar Town, although I was kind of scared of it at the same time. I mix it up with Saffron a lot because it really only exists in the game so that you have a change at beating Sabrina, harhar.

It'd be so cool to watch Pokemon Chronicles. I've always wanted to see what happened to Charizard and Richie and Gary (*drool*).

Also, when the main theme song for the television show is sung in English, the lyrics "gotta catch em all" are alleged to say "I love Satan" or "oh Satan" when played backwards, which is known as "backmasking".

I'm sorry for bringing up random things, but that's hilarious.

*d'oh* That's right! I remember the "Vacation Spot" comment now!

Isn't it Viridian gym he takes over in G/S? And Cinnabar Island is destroyed, and Blaine moves his gym to the Seafoam Islands.

Now I'm almost regretting that I didn't stick with the anime instead of giving up on it when the Orange Island saga started. Must be a sign that I've forgotten how bad it was.

What I haven't forgotten is the Team Rocket motto. I don't think I ever will. It always puzzled me because it sounded more like a super hero slogan than something the bad guys would say (well, except for that weird bit about "denounce the evils of truth and love"). I remember thinking that the Cassidy/Butch version made way more sense. What happened to those two, anyway? They were so awesome and evil. Well, Cassidy was. Butch... like... didn't actually talk.

Gary becomes a researcher, huh? Haha, he is so suffering from "Famous Grandfather's Shadow" syndrome. Poor guy. Do you know if he won the Pokémon League Championships?

Hm, actually, I can't remember whether or not my ghost pokémon was instrumental in beating Sabrina. I remember thinking after watching the anime that ghost types were strong against psychic types, and then being surprised when I found out that they weren't. Lessee if I can remember this... Psychic is weak against Bug and... Poison is strong against Psycic? Not entirely sure about that last one. Then, of course, there's the uber advantage Dark type has, but that's no help in R/B.

I was mostly glad Lavendar Town existed once I got to the Elite Four. It allowed me to beat Bruno with a single pokémon.

And just in case you didn't catch it the first time, I feel obligated to point out: Pokémon musical. Live action. Giovanni sings a song called "It Will All Be Mine." God, how did they coerce a Broadway actor into doing that?

Yeah, dubbed Pokemon is.. really quite something. I tried watching Pokemon The Movie 3 last night. The French dubbing was better than the English. And the French was pretty sad.
("Molly, I have to tell you something.. I'm not really your mother."
Molly: O______O *GASPDIE*)

I stopped watching it after the Orange Island series. I caught a few Johto episodes here and there, but I eventually stopped watching TV and stuff. But I DID happen to go through nearly all of the synopsises of them today. Not only am I dying on the inside, but I am now familliar with the series! Hooray.

Ah. I think the reason why I thought it was obvious that Gary would run off to Cinnabar is because in my G/S guide (the Pokedex at the back is AMAZING), they have the Viridian gym listed right under Blaine's. I got them mixed up, methinks. (You had to face Blaine and then head back to Viridian.)

Like Ash, I don't think he really won anything. But I both love and dislike how Gary became more and more humble as the series went on. At some point, he whooped Ash's bottom and said he still had a long way to go at. And later on, he kept declining Ash's battles. (Sadly, I never caught any of this. I just went through some, erm, extensive research XD)

Their motto! All I really remember is "Meoooowth! That's right! ;D"

... Giovanni sings? I thought you were kidding about that. Not the musical, but about Giovanni. I mean, really - wow. That's.. great.

Prepare for trouble
Make it double
To protect the world from devestation
To unite all peoples within this nation
To denounce the evils of truth and love
And extend our rech to the stars above
Jesse
James
Team Rocket blast off at the speed of light
Surrender now or prepare to fight
Meowth, that's right!

How sad is it that I know that?

Even sadder: I think I can still remember the ending to the second movie.

"So we go to be the heroes for once!"
"That's good!"
"The boss ain't gonna like this."
"That's bad."
"We can start our own Team!"
"That's good!"
"But we don't have any money!"
"That's bad."
"We can steal some!"
"That's good! Or is that bad?"

Speaking of the second movie: why the heck did Misty NOT end up giving him mouth to mouth? The set up was TOO PERFECT. I can only imagine that they had originally planned it, but then changed their minds at the last second.

XD Ahah, that was hilarious.

I don't remember anything about the movies - even the third one that I tried rewatching during the weekend. But I dooo remember that I loved the first and second ones.

There is a LOT of AshxMisty in the Orange Islands saga. After getting back into Pokemon, I realized how much I loved that. (And reading up on when they have to part. And then she's replaced with some GIRL u__u.)

It's really quite interesting how many Pokemon pairings people come up with. AshxMisty is called Pokeship, I think. Palletship is GaryxAsh (... o_o;;), Egoship is GaryxMisty. And then there's AshxMay (the new girl), TraceyxMisty, probably BrockxMisty, and maybe even something crazy like TraceyxGary. Have they even MET?

Also after reading the synopsis, I kinda like BrockxSuzie. (That girl with the Vulpix - he gave the Vulpix back in the Johto series ;_;. And Suzie ended up having some male childhood friend. Pssht.) Brock's a good guy, and I wish he'd hurry up and find SOMEONE so that he'll stop chasing random girls like a pedo.

Why DID they have to part, anyway? Heh, I'm betting he never paid up on her bike.

Personally, I don't like ANY pairing that involves Brock. He needs to grow up a bit first. The whole girl chasing thing was funny at first, but after a while it just got creepy. Like during the Pokemon league, when he was oggling all of the Nurse Joys and Officer Jennies at once.

...

Oh God. The Nurse Joys and Officer Jennies. Again, not funny, just stupid. I have never seen a more blatantly obvious cover-up for artistic laziness. Just... gah.

Oh! Speaking of blatantly obvious cover-ups, did you ever play Colluseum? It was hilairous, because you could tell that they had used an internet random name generator to name all of the stock characters!

Vulpix are one of my favorite pokemon. They look so unbelievably cuddly. @_@

They wanted to get rid of Misty. XD

Her sisters said they'd take over for Misty while she was on her adventure and said they wanted to go on a World Tour when she came back. When she did, they got the tickets and she had to rush back home to her duties. On her BRAND-NEW BIKE :D:D

Unfortunately, Ash burnamated May's bike.

Yeah, they have a LOT of names in the games and stuff. They're probably checking off all the names on the Babynames database, 600 at a time...

I read that the Nurse Joys were all the same in the anime because they were that way in the game. And then, I guess, Officer Jenny came after.

Brock IS scary. But he is sweet to certain girls (Suzie, for instance). Mmyep.
