sad and happy news.
i regret to inform the public that frend and wilma have both passed on to that great fresh body of water in the sky. there was a tragic accident, the details of which remain unknown (the authorities are on the case but are very busy with other things like midterms). fred died instantly and wilma was found in a coma-like state which she remained in for three days before being declared dead. they were good fish and we will miss them always.
in happier news. i would like to introduce you to hte new inhabitants of the purple watery house on my dresser: george el curioso and paco el gordo. george is very small and cute and orange and playful. he likes to swim against the current of the filter and wiggle a lot. paco is really fat. he is orange on top and white on bottom. hes a little slow. they are both very happy with their new home which is much less crowded than the orphanage Petsmart. they are not weirded out by the fact that people died in their house a matter of days ago. geroge was present for wilmas last few days. he encouraged her and held her fin til the last breath. he is a sweet little fish who is happy to have a new roommate.
