:) Move to Canada ...its just the right temperature if you think that -35 C with a -40/-50 C windchill factor is comfortable in the winter time lol.
Seriously though...its time for me to move, but I'm too old now to work and live in most countries...I found out tonight.

well....to get a working visa for the UK you have to be 17-27years old. For Australia /New Zealand the max. age is 30......I'm 31. The UK was where I was hoping to go. Australia was only a second choice because a good friend of mine lives there.

There is a loophole to the UK I would belive..since you sorta are under the grown..atleast you was born when they was..I think there might be a loophole for Canadians..I would call the British Embassy if I was you..The same rule was in hand when all the hong kong chnisee moved out of Hong Kong before china took over...the crown and the comonwelth..I think there is a hope in hell..the other solution would be a student visa.

Well.. my parents were born under the British rule, before Newfoundland joined conferation. I'm thinking that their original birth certificates will state "Britain", but I believe that once NL joined conferation, the residents pretty much signed themselves over as canadians...of course there would have been no choice in the matter. Its something that I am going to look into.
