Ok kids, here's Emily's dilemma. Emily has room for five classes next semester, yet has seven she really REALLY wants to take. Emily is an English/Religion double major with four semesters left to do shitloads of work. Emily also wants to learn Russian. So here is Emily's schedule, and YOUR job is to tell Emily what to get rid of!

So I know you're looking at Thursday and saying Emily, Children's Lit conflicts with your Smith Classes, and you need religion classes, not another English class. But then I say but Dory and Laila are in Children's Lit next semester and I want to be in class with them. And then you say Emily Literature of Exile is a senior seminar there's no way you can get into it. And I say okay, so I'm really not going to take Lit of Exile, but it's nice to dream - but if I take Children's Lit I'm going to have to try for it so that I have a fifth class. Because the whole time I know you're staring at this going, Emily, RUSSIAN?!!? You're going to drop that two weeks into the semester!! And I say no, well ok maybe, but that's why I need a fifth class in case I do have to drop it, I need a safety net.
:phew: Help? Someone? ANYONE? This form is due on Monday. Help me.

--Fastball and the Goo-Goo Dolls, at PPAC with mom, katie and ali. Oh the days...
2. Who is your favorite artist/band now?
--the Indigo Girls, Tori, Evanescence, U2, REM, Guster, Depeche Mode, Tracy Chapman...
3. What's your favorite song?
--U2's Mysterious Ways, Tori's Little Earthquakes, IG's Blood and Fire
4. If you could play any instrument, what would it be?
--Piano like Tori or guitar like Amy.
5. If you could meet any musical icon (past or present), who would it be and why?
--BOWIE... Tori... Bono... Tracy... all amazing people with soul.
In other news... well, there is no other news. My roommate doesn't talk to me anymore. My mom forbade me to work with my dad over the summer and wants me to work at a summer camp, full well knowing that I hate children and could never do that without shooting myself. I want to quit school, spend my tuition money on getting as many tattoos and piercings as I possibly can, develop a drug addiction, lose sixty pounds and become a rock star.
Or just have a week of no stress. Somehow the former seems easier.
