Work work work work.....
back from AX in LA. First con I ever went to just for fun, didn't work, didn't do any panels, didn't draw or sell a thing...and was BOARD out of my scull. I can't see why anyone would PAY good money to wonder around doing NOTHING for a whole weekend. I guess this is why having a costume is so important.
Got to hang out with Christina. Haven't seen her sence college, so that was cool. Went to her panels on coloring for comics in Photoshope and OMFG!! I'VE BEEN DOING IT WRONG ALL THIS TIME!!!!...well, no WRONG per say...but her way is SO MUCH SIMPELER!! *head desk head desk* So, I guess that made the trip worth it.
Finally found my 12 inch ball joint Roy Mustang doll. WOOT!! He is teh smex even in doll form.
Jenny and I stayed in LA for an extra 2 days after the con and dicked around Hollywood and Santa Monica. Saw the Chinese theater and got to stand in Jhonny Depps, Chis Walken, and Darth Vaders foot prints. I dorked out HARD over getting to put my hands in Michael Keatons hand prints. BEETLEJUICE MUCH!!
Santa Monica is pretty nice. Went to the shopping area. Not much else to do cuz the water on the beach was FREEZING.
So yeah, now I'm home for another 2 days, then I have to be in Tampa for Metro Con...then I have Tokyo in Tulsa which will be fun cuz it's a first year and the ppl running it are super nice ^_^ , and then San Japan (I'm really looking forward to that one) and then ANIME FEST!!! WOOT! God I love anime fest! Happy fun no pressure Drinky Times! I've got WAY too many cons lined up after that, but that's cool. ^_^
Doing some work with Sami on (censored) prodject for (censored). Which is cool. Wish I could say more, but oh well. ^_~
So anywho, good things in the works. I'm just SO SWAMPED RIGHT NOW. ><
On the up side, Tampa this weekend and after that I'm heading over to Orlando to go to Universal just to see the Beetllejuice stage show. XD. The REALLY cool part about that is that the guy who plays BJ is a friend of a friend who called him to let him know I'm coming just to see the show...so I'm supposed to call him to let him know when i'm gonna get there. NEAT.
