I haven't posted in a couple days, but...
I got the job at Nash Finch!
Pending the drug test I took yesterday, the job is mine. Mind you, there's no way I am not passing the test.
The results should be back on Friday and the advertising manager said she would call me after she received them to discuss things like salary and whatnot. No, I don't know what I am getting paid yet, as long as it is $12 or more, I'm fine with it.
Gas is ridciculous right now..1.759 and 1.769 were the highest I saw yesterday. Too expensive.
I thought I would have to go to Bluffton today, but I called them, and they are going to mail me my cap and gown and tassel. White for 'Miscellaneous', don't we art majors feel special. :P
Yesterday Mom and I went shopping at the outlet mall. I got two new work shirts (button up, 3/4 sleeve), a sleeveless sweater to wear under work shirts if I want (the sweater is a bit dressier than a normal tank top), and a raincoat/jacket. The jacket is khaki colored, has double breasted buttons, and a belt around the waist. Now, Mom can cheerfully get rid of my old, canvas, faded coat. I still love that coat, but it isn't appropriate to wear to work.
Mm, what else. My greenhouse structure is almost complete.
I made the door last night, it should be dry this morning. Just hopefully, it dried flat. Wood that thin tends to warp when you stain it.
Now, the door needs attached to the door frame, but those tiny hinges look horrible to mess with. It still needs a floor. I need to create 'metal' poles and chains to hang from the ceiling as poles to put hanging baskets on. I think the structure will be done after that, then furniture and plants can be added.
