RT Dreams
I had another RT dream last night--that makes two in the last week. In this one, for some odd reason I was at lauren_dane's house (WTF?) trying on my costume (not wearing one, btw) for the Ellora's Cave party. It had a lot of feathers. A LOT. I was even hanging around with Lauren's husband (who I don't know) and taking a shower in their bathroom.
Someone tell me what feathers in a dream mean, because seriously, it was weird. My brain is a strange place to be. The other dream involved missing the entire conference due to traffic (I'm flying, btw) and wandering around on the last day looking for a particular Romance Diva. For no apparent reason.
Why can't I dream about hot men ravishing me? Why?!
I'm actually very excited for RT. In the past, I might have been nervous to go alone, not knowing anyone very well and all that. But now I'm looking forward to it--I can really immerse myself in the classes and book fair, maybe get some writing time if I'm bored, and show my face and name around industry folks. And no dirty diapers to change for 5 whole days! Plus, I get to meet some of my online friends in person, which is cool! (Though I won't be showering in their houses, I promise)
In more sane news, I have both a cover and a release date for Triple X! Look for Abby, Jordan and Edan on May 2nd. I'm really psyched about it, my first real book out there in the world :) Check out my LJ profile page for the cover, it's nifty cool, with DNA!
And Wednesday is our first "hottie day" at the Wicked Whispers Blog. Johnny, who else?
