I'm not one to judge a book by its cover, but this cover made me stop and read the blurb. Hawt. (link to blurb).
In other news, got my Triple X edits, and they are blessedly few and very good--I sincerely hope I've got the head hopping issue under control in later novels. I must have ran through that story 100 times looking for it, and the editor still found a few more. This is why I don't see myself turning down crit or editing in the future--I need all the help I can get. You can only run through a thing so many times before your eyes cross and you just miss stuff.
It is spring break this week and the children are off the walls already! But they seem to get along very well which is nice; I never got along that well with my brother.
I tried to watch 300 but fell asleep. I tend to do that with action movies--even ones I like! It is like the action makes me tired, or something--oh man titty, you wear me out so. However, I also purchased myself a copy of God of War Two, and have no trouble slashing through harpies and guards. In fact, I take an inordinate amount of pleasure in it. I suppose I like my hack and slash to be active, not passive. That's vaguely disturbing...
