Oops
Theres a reason I didnt post yesterday...Swear.
But first things first.
Overall,yesterday was decent.We had breakfast (cereal with warm milk and watery juice) and then made 2 trips each from the hostel we were at to the accomodations place to store our bags.Went to USIT to hang out for a bit and do the orientation thing.There were 5 of us total,and the other 3 were from Toronto,New Jersey,and Montreal.And the girl giving the orientation is from Ontario too.Canadians are taking over Ireland.Schweet.
The presentation itself was pretty good.Long,but informative.
After that ended,we loaded our bags into a taxi and went to the new place.Stood in the rain (omgz rly?!) for what seemed like a long time before the landlord finally opened the door.When we got to our room (its like living in rez.We have our own bedroom with a bathroom en suite,but a common kitchen) we discovered it wasnt ready yet.So we sat and waited.After the bed boxspring got put together,landlord left and came back with cleaning supplies so we could clean the bathroom ourselves.How sweet.It smells like a Port-A-Potty in there.Ugh.
Anyhoo!After we got all unpacked and whatnot,we went for dinner at McDonalds.I know,so creative.We then went looking for a bank but settled on an ATM,went to this uber-cheap department store called Penneys where I got a new wallet,and Jake picked up a suit (including 2 ties) for 25eu.Hells yeah.Stopped at 3 so Jake could put some money on his phone,then went home.
Boring,boring,boring.
Went for a walk!It took about 3 hours or so.This includes a stop for me to get pizza (which burned my mouth,literally) and for Jake to get some chow mein.I got wonton soup,but after taking a bite of the wonton I discovered it wasnt made with pork like back home,but...Prawn.I dont do seafood.Sigh.
Finally got home,texted with Phil to arrange a meet- we're going to meet up at the Dublin Spire tonight,then go to a bar called Sin E (theres an accent on the E,its Gaelic).
Then I threw on my sandals,took a shower,and went to bed.
Much better update tonight,probably with pics!Yay!
