Continued! Sorry Im a bit late, had some communication issues. Oh, and I did get dragged to Bruno. Sigh.
Saturday
Had a double chocolate muffin and a watery hot chocolate for breakfast.Watery,not because thats how we do them at CBC,but because I cant drink milk.Balls.While I was eating,I discovered how a couple of our neighbours were able to stay up for hours upon hours after normal people would get tired.Lets just say its not legal,and I dated a former addict in my first year of college.Those who know me/were there for that shitstorm know what Im talking about.Anyhoozle,I went for another walk with Lana,which was thankfully free of drunks to the best of my recollection.Once we returned,Pip showed us her Rubix Cube skillz.I forget who mentioned it,but did you know that if you get 28 people together,theres a 50/50 chance that 2 share the same birthday?We were intrigued,so we asked everyones birthdays.And guess what.Callum and Kevin were both born on Feb 10!Crazy crazy.During my shift,one of the bus girls came up!Michelle.We talked for a bit,but it was mad busy so we couldnt talk long.She was really nice though.I really shouldve gotten more Facebooks.Oh well.We were running really low on 10/20/50 cent pieces,so I kept doing change exchanges with people.Hey,they didnt complain.Who wants to carry around more pieces of coin than they need to?Had some interesting characters again,including a guy in a kilt with a rubber pig mask.I tried to get a picture,but there was a guy who kept getting in my way.After work,I went to get a burger (fo free!) and then asked Joel to grab me a Coke since I didnt know where to go/want to ask.He was such a good errand boy...haha.I tease,I tease.I miss the guy.Paul decided we should play Monopoly,but we didnt have a board,so we just pretended.I was the hat,he was the car,Valeria was the shoe,and Joel was the battleship.I thought we were playing normal Monopoly,but when I went to buy St.Charles Place,I got wierd looks.Turns out we were playing Dublinopoly.It didnt last long after that.I hate Monopoly.I got Alexs wristband for Valeria after that,and the two of us plus Adam went to see the Yeah Yeah Yeahs.We made it through about 3 songs before deciding to leave.They just werent very good.Sorry,Paige.I tried.But I did get some pictures for you.We stood in this random blue bigtop tent for a bit before Adam reminded us we had to get back to work.As we were heading home,we got stopped by a rather drunk guy.His name was Kevin,he was from New Zealand,and though that our little group was AWESOME because in it there was now: A kiwi,a Canadian,a Brit,and an Italian.Mad.Got back just in time to save the last of the dinner from being polished off by people going for thirds.It was somewhat greasy spaghetti and mince.Through my shift,my stomach kept acting up again,so Joel had me try using Tiger Balm on it.That was the wierdest feeling ever.The pain was a deep,sore,smoldering pain,the there was this layer of nothingness,then COLD from the Balm.Yeesh.The folks for the graveyard shift got back late,but when they had to walk back,everyone was rushing to Kings of Leon.I thought about going back to the hospital tent,but ended up just talking to Joel about Kung Fu and cheese instead.Yeah,dont ask.We filled the 3 hot water bottles (Callum had been surprised that Shannon had found one,so he did some digging and found two more!He was so proud) and Joel let me have two.Aw.Stacy from next door came over,so I gave her one of mine,and we had a hot water bottle party. I was texting with Jake,who decided to do some Googling after a text from me referred to a want of amature surgery to remove a certain organ of mine.His mom,a nurse,was reading with him,and they determined I likely have..dun dun dunnnn.An ulcer.So I should avoid meat,greasy food,and alcohol.I had 2 days left at an outdoor festival.Theres nothing else to eat.Not very cool.The shirt tent lost electricity,so at about midnight I turned down the kitchen radio and actually got some sleep.I woke up after a bit and theyd gotten power back,so I asked Stacy if they could turn it down a little,they did,and I passed right back out.Gorgeous.
Sunday/Monday soon,Jake and the parentals are back and I still need to hit Tesco.Ill finish tonight with some pictures,guaranteed.
