Ah,3 days off.
This is my weekend so far:
Friday.
Got ahold of my friend Morgane who is in Dublin for the summer doing an internship,met up and discussed details for Saturday. Went home, made dinner, read my book. Then I decided I didnt feel like sitting around the flat being bored, so I went to see a movie. Jake ended up tagging along. We saw Year One, and bought tons of candy.

B- Fried egg gummy (fruit flavoured)
C- Gummy milkshake
D- Chocolate covered toffee
E- Gummy cherries
F- Gummy strawberry
G- Chocolate covered raisin
H- Chocolate covered rice krispie covered chocolate nougat? Delicious either way.
I- GIANT GUMMY DOLPHIN. Im saving this one for last.
Saturday.
Had dinner plans with Darren for 630, but he got caught up at work and had to reschedule for 715. I had plans afterwards to meet up with Morgane and head to Valeria's place,so I needed something I could wear to dinner and then to a pub.
I thought I was running a bit late,but I actually beat him there.
I realized that I had a picture of him standing next to Dermot,and a picture of us sitting by eachother,but no picture to show the height difference.Hes slouched over with his head tilted,but I think you get the idea.
Oh yeah.We got dinner at Quiznos and sat next to these 3 ladies with the super-nasal Dublin knacker accent.Finished eating,then Darren said quietly to me "lets get the hell outta here,shall we?" We ended up sitting by the river and talking for awhile,trying to figure out why this one girl was bawling.Turns out shed gotten mugged by some lady.Balls.The Garda who were talking to her had to have a chat with some Asian tourist who took a picture of them (seriously dude?) but whom I dont think understood a word of what was said to him.Oy vey.
Walked back to the Spire after awhile,introduced Darren and Morgane,then he left and we started on our way.Stopped at a Centra so I could by some spirits,and (what luck!) there was a sale on my favourite one,WKD.5 bottles for 11eu.Since they retail for about 6eu each at bars,it was a pretty good deal. We went into Eddie Rockets so I could check my schedule,then waited outside of the movie theatre for Valeria to show up.We headed back to her place to hang out before going out.Jake and Eoin didnt want to come,so it was a Ladies Night.Which,honestly,I was quite cool with.I dont have many girlfriends back home to do that with,and the first (and last) time I had one here I was with Anna.Ugh.
We actually ended up just staying in at Valerias all night,sitting around the table talking and hanging out.We went outside a couple times so they could smoke,and I tried to befriend 2 stray tabby kittens.But they werent really having it.One was starting to trust me until Morgane came up behind me and scared him off.Jerk.Haha
Overall,it was a fun night.We talked about...everything,really.School,family,funny anecdotes,boyfriends,there was a debate on if you can or cant be friends with your ex-boyfriends (and apparently its wierd that Im still friends with 2 of mine,huh),and mentions of old pets and yeah.
Morgane left at about 2am with 3/4+ of a bottle of wine in her (which apparently wasnt horrible,despite her buying it at the corner store.Pretty impressive from a French girl).I stuck around until 3,then went home because Id told Jake Id be home by 3.Oops.Stopped at a Londis to get some edibles (Capri Sun and a "Rustler" packaged hamburger) and ended up walking through the door at about...330.Not bad.Upon going into my room,I discovered that Jake only hogs 2/3 of the bed when Im in it.Otherwise,he sticks to the edge of his side.
Watched the sun rise at 4 in the blinkin' morning then went to sleep.
Sunday.
Went out and bought Shreddies.
Dermot is on his way over for a night of pizza and horrible movies (Ninja Cheerleaders, as well as Zombie Strippers, are apparently in queue for tonight).
More on that later.
