I feel that I got a lot done today. I sorted out my Centrelink stuff, which I've needed to do for the last week. I get paid tomorrow, after living on pretty much nothing for the last five days. I also sorted out the upstairs landing at St George's and made it all nice and inviting and cosy.
Start work tomorrow at nine, working Tuesday till Friday, guess I'll be glad of the weekend when I get there. I've already been given the responsibility of getting money from petty cash to buy coffee for the machine upstairs. I reckon I'm going to fit in well.
Bloody Mexican boy stood me up. Well, he said he was still in Launceston and so couldn't make Island today, but might try to check it out tomorrow. Not even, are you free tomorrow, just, I'll try and go there. Huh. Oh well, it was fun for a day, gave me something to think about.
