Hmm, I'm not sure if she's actually long-lost. I heard that she still keeps in contact with them and they send her money. So little is known about the characters families.
I assumed it was BEFORE they added her biography to Wikipedia.
Now we have a clearer understanding concerning her relations to Seyruun.
Okay, Maria was awesome. Although this was way back in 2003, I remember it like it was yesterday. Okay, not really, but still, it's a moment I can never forget.
Unlike her character, she was quiet and didn't talk much. We in the audience were allowed to ask her questions, and she had a translator next to her.
When it was my turn, I asked her, if it was difficult doing Naga's laugh. I think she said no, it wasn't, and into the microphone, she went ahead and did it, right inside the panel.
Another member in the audience stood up and asked, if the rumor concerning Amelia and Naga being sisters was true.
Maria's answer, in English, was "That's a secret."
Then I got her autograph on my Slayers Great movie soundtrack poster. I could have died in heaven.
I'll treasure my CD forever. It would be awesome if I could see her again.
Alot of voice actors don't know too much about the anime/cartoon the work for. All they know is who their charactor is and what they say. Some of them don't even know the other actors.
And I bet she still is in that line of work. I mean, she was still doing it in 2003, right?
I surprised you're not a huge member of her fan page. Assuming of course she has one. I know Crispin Freeman and damn, I can't remember his name exactly, but Zel's japanese voice both have fan sites.
And do you have some hidden crush on Naga? Why all the bliss?

She's my character's long-lost onee-chan, what do you think? :X
And meeting Maria was another blissful moment that I'll never forget.

Is she still doing the voice thing? You might be able to see her at a convention again if she is.
Oh, this is the interview for Blastor magazine that Kenzaka gave:

That site has alot of pictures of her, strangely enough.

And I'm not sure, she should be? That's a good question, I never caught up with her list of other works.
Thanks for the link, I'll check it out.
