Inspired little rant.
This was inspired by pimmy_pim. Yes, I myself need to get a few things off my chest, too, and I'm sure it's the same for everyone. So here I go.
1. I love magical girl anime. Sailor Moon, Cardcaptor Sakura, Wedding Peach, etc.
2. I love anime girls who can kick butt, whether or not they have magical powers.
3. I love really CUTE anime, such as Snow Fairy Sugar. I just melt in uber kawaiiness and innocence. Makes me feel like a child all over again.
4. I love anime children. Ya know, anime characters who are still kids. Such as Chiyo-chan from Azumanga Daioh and Misaki from Angelic Layer. It shows that kids can do just as much as teenagers or adults in anime.
5. I like Disney. I grew up watching Disney. I still like Disney. Despite all the horrible animated sequels which would make Walt himself cry waterfalls.
6. I love Pixar and all their films. My favorites are the Incredibles and Cars.
7. I grew up watching a lot of animated kids shows. My favorite is Rugrats. Although, I was hooked on Spongebob Squarepants for a long while. I'm also a fan of Tim Burton's works such as Nightmare Before Christmas and Corpse Bride.
8. Yes, I like girls. I am an honest and straightforward lesbian, and proud of it!
9. I am not a big fan of yaoi. Please don't shove shounen-ai/yaoi stuff into my face, or I'll get mad. And I'm scary when I get mad.
10. While I respect Zelgadis/Amelia as a canon pairing, I am in love with Lina/Amelia.
11. I am convinced Lina Inverse is bisexual, from reading the manga and novels.
12. One has to wonder why there are more images of Amelia with fire than Lina with fire.
