All right, gents. The Clairborne Ground Forces have suffered some disappearances and radio blackouts. They may be requesting our aid so I want every crew member who isn't busy healing, being healed, or repairing to report here for duty. The captain wants a list of names so reporting isn't optional ( Read more... )

I would assist, but I'm not quite off medical leave yet Commander.

Then I suppose you would fall in with the 'being healed' crowd, am I right? And if I'm not mistaken ... oh yes! I do believe I mentioned something about that lot not being required to report, though I'm not sure if I remembered that correctly. Could you please double check that for me, Commander Marquise?

[ooc: She's toying with him MAJORLY, btw. XD]

I could help, I still have one arm. But, I doubt the Doctors will let me.

Commander, your grasp on the situation is tenuous at best. I suggest you go lie down before you mangle your dignity any more than you already have.

As much I wish I could help you, ma'am...
I'm kinda...well...

Remember the blast in the engine room? Yeah...
I was in that.

I hope the other mechanics are fairing well, especially since I am on medical leave for a good while.

Now, for a moment, lets break this down. Not ONLY are you a mechanic, but you've also been put on medical leave. That would land you in TWO of the categories that I SPECIFICALLY stated did NOT have to report.

Need I make myself any clearer?

...So let me guess? You officers know how to fix the faulty equipment in base, right?

Mister Seagill.

If you do so feel like questioning the captain's orders I suggest you take that up with him. My orders were to collect the names of every crew member who was available for duty. What that duty entails has not been revealed as of yet, nor is it your business to know.

I recommend that you return to your quarters to rest as you've no doubt been instructed and allow me to personally dismiss you from this assignment.

Well, the mechanics seem to have gotten themselves in the 'being healed' category, but we've really reached the limit of what we can do until we have material or more mechanics back on their feet or both.

I will be available for search and rescue or I can tend to the ship. I'm not a mechanic though, so that might be better left to the experts.

Which is all a long way of saying I'm at your command.

Well, fortunately I believe we'll be handing over the job of repairing the ship to the Clairborne Ground Force mechanics so you need not worry about that.

Right now your job is to stand by and wait for orders. I'll add you to my list.

Reporting. How clear is the situation?

It's about as clear as the Rahki River during a drought. Stand by for orders.
