I had a delightful time today with frankie_ecap, who joined me at St. John the Divine for high mass and a mini tour of the premises as part of her whirlwind tour through New York. She was indeed glamorous, from her the highlights in her auburn hair right down to her elegant golden slippers. We had a nice bit of ecclesiastical geekery and were then joined by our gentleman companions for lunch at a Chinese restaurant. Very civilized and pleasant, and everyone got where they were going, despite the 12-year-old map.

I love meeting LJ friends in real life. Those of you who have so far failed to visit New York City: What are you waiting for???
