For those of you who don't know...
I resigned from my position at the beginning of this week. I gave about a month's notice, so I'm still there for three more weeks.
The reason I resigned is because (my boss is crazy) Denise got an amazing job in Baltimore, MD and she asked me to marry her (I said yes), so now I'm following her to yet another "M" State. This one should be a million times better.
I will be pretty close to Washington, D.C. so I could take classes at Gallaudet. There are a lot of other grad schools I could go to for Psychology. Plus, I get to leave the midwest/south. It will be a big change but I am so excited!
Denise left for Baltimore on Monday. Which means I've been alone since then. That also means I have been one busy beaver. I've been trying to get everything that has to be finished in one month for home and work completed and out of the way. It is definitely more difficult than one would think.
Work; we have a new database and I have to input information from April to now.
Home; clean Denise's car (her parents are coming to get it tomorrow), clean the house, fix my car ($500), make a cake for my co-workers going away party, etc....I don't even want to think about it anymore.
I'm going sky diving in two weeks! I am super pumped for that! I've always wanted to go, but never given the opportunity to actually go. Plus I'm going camping and maybe even on a float trip if I have enough money.
When I leave Missouri, I will go to Michigan for Luke's graduation party. From there, I am going to visit my grandma and grandpa in California for a week or two and then off to Maryland...never to be heard from again. No, I'm kidding.
There is the official update in case anyone was wondering. I'm engaged. I quit my job. I'm moving to Maryland.
