Weekend :)
So last night I ended up walking around, exploring campus with a couple girls from my hall, Kate and Guadalupe (they are roommates.) Lupe came back to go to bed after a while, but Kate and I wanted to go stargazing, so we took some blankets and just lay on this hill behind one of the other residence halls for a couple hours. It was really fun and we talked about all kinds of stuff. Kate and I have a lot in common. She also loves Lord of the Rings, chai tea, and Muse, and it looks like I can turn her into a Harry Potter fan too. X) She said she would start reading them. She also offered to let me stay with her family for All Saints break (end of October/beginning of November) since I didn't plan on going all the way home for only a few days, and we are planning a Lord of the Rings movie party. We are trying to get Lupe to read Lord of the Rings, and she seems pretty willing... >:}
Anyway, today I've just been hanging out in my room mostly. I checked my mail and did some laundry, and I plan on reading at least two books of the Iliad and some history later. I also need to practice my German for a while. I love my classes!!! I'm actually looking forward to studying this semester. I'm such a nerd.
