The Most Dangerous Kind of Man

Oct 28, 2010 21:29

You're the most dangerous kind of man.
There's steel in your eyes and fire in your hands.
You say pretty words and smile just right.
But who are you at the end of the night?

Is it all a lie?
Is everything a game?
Do you care when I cry?
Do you treat us all the same?

A touch here, a wink there,
You drift through life without a care.
I'm just a silly girl,
One of dozens in your world.

The words roll like honey
Off of your tongue.
Are you just being wild?
Are you just being young?

Who are you when no one's looking?
Who are you when no one's there?
Who are you when you look in the mirror?
Do you like the man  you see there?

Are you a gentleman or a liar?
Is this the truth or just a game?
Are you really filled with ice or fire?
Or to you is it all the same?

I know you've got her now,
But you say you're still my friend.
Should I believe you?
Or is it just a means to an end?

You whisper all the right words.
You make all the right moves.
Should I believe a thing I've heard
Or do I mean nothing to you?
