The State of Ame . . .
As it was pointed out to me last night, it's been a long freaking time since I put anything up here besides noticed for GC. Sorry about that folks, RL hates me, it's freaking hot, and I can't write for shit.
So, what's up with me? Let's see. It's freaking hot and we finally broke down and bought an AC for Mom's room. Too bad I can't fit the computer in there. Mom's cat passed away and that's been tough on both of us. Meanwhile if I have another month like I had last month I'm gonna scream and this week I've taken to drinking cranberry juice which makes me grumpy as well. Urgh.
Yeah, not having a fun summer. But as of today I have a sno-cone machine and hopefully that'll help things look up. Of course Wally World was out of the flavorings but I'm sure shaved ice in my cherry coke will work wonders!
Oh! Before I forget, the fine folks at the fangfetish has let me know that some nice person nom'd me for Damned With You. Thank you so much! That's so sweet of you!
And I just found out that the lovely mods of that awards site has done a miracle! They've not only archived griefcounseling for me and Suki, but they've got it caught up! Look!
That's so nice of them because Suki and I both worried about LJ flipping it's lid again and losing GC and we don't have it up anywhere else. Well, we didn't. Now we do! Thanks people!
Let's see, there's not much else going on. Well, I do get inexplicable turned on watching Gordon Ramsey curse people out on Kitchen Nightmares and Hell's Kitchen but that could just be me being weird again.
