PR Upclose

I've been meaning to post this since I got back on Sunday night, but was having a little trouble getting the pictures to load. Better late than never, and what better night to post about Project Runway than on a Wednesday!

Anywho, Friday night I got a call from my sister. She said that when my mom and I arrived in NYC, the first thing we had to do was take a walk down 34th on the Macy's side and check out the display window. That's the only clue I got and I was not even suppose to tell my mom that much information.

So we take a walk down 34th and the first thing I see is Jeffery's couture gown. I have got to tell you that as you walk up the block it looks like a taffeta gown, so I am amazed that it is made out of cotton!

It appears that this is a rotating display, because off to the left of the winning design, are the winners from the previous challenges. Sorry for the bad picture, but it was getting crowded and the glass didn't help. You can see my Mom reflected in Michael Knight's plastic coat!

Getting to see the garments upclose like this, you can really see where they are made in such a hurry. Not such great finishing. People are always telling my sister she needs to try out, but she says she does not have the sewing skills. This display however, really has her thinking about it though. I mean she already has one up on Angela, because she does in fact sketch!
