The Phantoms game was a lot of fun last night. There was no jinxing on my part because they are now the Calder Cup Champions!! It was so great to be in the house during the trophy presentation and watch all the guys take turns skating around with the cup. The funniest part was when the president of the AHL slipped and called them the Flyers during his speech.
Now, the parking lot was another story. I believe it took almost an hour to get out of there. It was an all time AHL Playoff record of 20,103 fans in attendance. People were celebrating in the lot, by honking their horns, drinking, dancing, and screaming. It was quite a sight!
Now today I am super sluggish for some reason. I had mega plans to get some stuff done, but I find myself at 1:15 sitting here in my nightgown still. If I get one thing accomplished today I'll be happy. My tummy just ain't cooperating for some reason. Boo.
