Before sharing all the great things that happened to me today, I would just like to say that I've discovered that the best way to solve a problem is to post about it on my blog. This results in awesome, useful suggestions for the best way to solve the problem. For example, I posted about my poor dead iPod. Someone mentioned that you can buy ( Read more... )

HOLY CRAP! That's one of the nicest compliments I've ever heard!! You better post a picture of that dress...it's so cool to think that the little girl saw how pretty you are - and if you really wanted to rock her world, you could tell her you're also a well-accomplished law student at UMich. ;-) Good aspirations for her.

I'm so glad you have good roommates. Snow is everpresent, I know, but it does eventually melt, and at least you live in a state where people know how to deal with it. It'll be useful someday when you're in a city where people panic at the white stuff, and you know how to deal.

It's snowing here, too - and I have a risky plan for tonight: Boulder has, as you might imagine, 100% vegetarian/vegan restaurants. So, considering this has been an issue in the past, I picked one sure to have every possible choice of vegetarian, only to find out on Valentine's Day, you are locked into a prix-fix (sp) menu!! For $35 a person!! So it's not like Sam has choices AGAIN. *Sigh* I can back out, but maybe it's a chance for the two of us to try out a prix-fix menu, which ordinarily, we couldn't. Thoughts?

Interesting... so what's on the prix-fix menu? Good stuff? That Sam will be able to eat? If so, go for it, in spite of the lack of choices... I think I definitely need more info on this one...

I really did luck into some great roommates. They are awesome.

Yes, 100% vegetarian, including stuff like "seaweed caviar" and squash ravioli (so Boulder), but of the three courses, you only get two choices for each course. So I guess I'll stick with it...if he hates it, I can take him to a Nepalese restaurant or something.

Yeah, I would go ahead and try it. Especially if it is a place that is extra pricey to try outside of the fixed menu.

I have never had Nepalese food. Consider me intrigued.
