Back in Ann Arbor

The weekend at the cabin was great. There was a campfire and smores and hiking and hot spiced cider and wine. I did not want to leave ever.

Alas, I did leave, and now I'm back in Ann Arbor. My parents came to visit me this weekend, and we went to the Ford Museum (which was surprisingly cool), ate at lots of places in town and watched some college football. We also went to see "the Wave Field," which is on pretty much every list of things to see in Ann Arbor and was designed by the woman who designed the Vietnam Memorial. It was so disappointing. It wasn't a field so much as a courtyard and they weren't so much waves as grassy mounds. It was tucked in behind one of the science buildings. So, anyway, if you're coming to Ann Arbor, you can skip the Wave Field.

Ok, back to work.
