Still here.
I'm stil here in Michigan. I'm sick... again. I have been sick more this year than in the past six years combined. It's ridiculous. Maybe Michigan doesn't like me. Maybe my body is rejecting Michigan. Maybe law school is just that stressful. Or, my favorite theory, law students pass stuff around like kidnergartners. I have a temperature of 100.3. I haven't had a fever in years. I feel like I'm a little kid again, back in the days when my mom would only let me stay home if I had a fever.
I do have good news to share since I last updated months and months ago. I have a job for the summer - with the firm I used to work at. So I'll be back in St. Louis this summer, which I'm looking forward to. I'm a little sad I don't get to spend the summer with Rob, which had been the plan since the beginning, but no one wanted to give me a job in LA.
Also, I'm pretty sure I've found a new apartment for the fall. It's close to campus (thank god - I don't think I could survive another winter of hiking/waiting for the bus from where I live now). I also will not have roommates, which will also be nice. As much as I like my roommates, I miss having my own place.
So that's the good news... Only four more weeks of classes, then finals, then summer!
