I should have stayed in my bed today!
I'm tired!
Today was terrible!
It started at night when I couldn't sleep because it was so hot in my room. (The weather in Germany decided to play "desert" yesterday!) After the sudden heat wave there was a loud thunder storm with heavy rain all night and the air was too hot and moist to breathe. I sweated all night!
As if the night hasn't been bad enough, I had to get up at 5:00 in the morning.
When I left the house the air was still moist, but at least it was a little bit cooler now and it didn't rain any more. (The weather tried "tropical rainforest climate" this time!) I went to University and reached Bochum main station without any problems. I thought that everything would go well, I only needed to take the subway and would reach my destiny within 10 minutes.
But then...
there was that damn display that said that the overhead wire had been struck by lightning and isn't working. That was so ridiculous I almost laughed out loud! The subway is mainly underground, but a little part, I think 4 stations before the university, are overground and the stupid lightning must have destroyed something there!
That underground line is the only one that goes to the university and it is constructed to take 30,000 students there every day! Every 5 mintes it transports at least 300 students, pupils and many other people. And what can be done if the whole route cannot be used? They use BUSSES!!!
Try to transport hundreds of people in busses. It was awful! I stood there squashed like in a sardin can, without air conditioning, without oxygen and sharing my sweat with my sardine buddies! YUCK! Instead of 10 minutes underground, we went 30 minutes in hell. And when I got out of the bus I was SOAKED in my own sweat and everyone else's!!!

The day was fucked up even before it started!
I didn't stop sweating all day. My hair was a mess. When I went home at 3pm, it started to RAIN. I had a jacket and an umbrella with me, but it was too warm and POINTLESS to use them! When I got home 1:30 hours later, I was soaked not only in sardine buddy sweat, but also in rain.
I've never needed a shower so badly!! (-__-)'
Man, I should have just stayed home today. When it was so hot at night and I lay there, sweating, I really thought about skipping. But unfortunately I had two important appointments with lecturers today.
I need to sign in for my oral bachelor's degree exam next week and that requires a bunch of bureaucratic necessities.
The good thing about today (I can't believe there is one!!!) is, that I have collected all forms, signatures, certificates and stamps I need to sign in now! I'll do the oral exam for Japanese studies in October. WOAAH, I'm nervous already!!
It's almost 10:30pm now, and I'll fall into my bed like dead and catch up on some sleep.
