Reason #4946541687961 for loving Japanese fanarts...
Since I'm a Pixiv.net member, I can find pretty cool Japanese fanarts easily. Of course, they still keeping their websites, but in an art gallery with tons of interesting tags, it's easier. And as several people has pointed to me, even older series have toons of those. For example, DBall...
Now, here are some samples...

Seeing this, I cannot help but remembering dragoness_e 's fics... but besides that, the picture cracked me up. XD
*Now, another sample by 玉葱 (Hao-whatever)
(This one sumarizes DBall real motion picture in just one scene XD)
*Because DBall also can be a cartoon... by ゴッドテイル (Godtail)
And like this, many others.
DBall is one of those fandoms with a pretty big amount of fanboys, thus many fanarts are done by fanboys and not only fangirls. If you ask, it's refreshing. Of course, the number of fanarts is as much as the number of fans, and these series happen to be pretty popular. Even so, minor series like "Darker than Black" or "Slayers" also get a new pic almost daily.
I'm happy to be there, besides the fact of being in touch with some of my favorite Japanese fanartists. ^_^
