Well...
I think after two years, (that long? Really?) I'm going to update "What if?" again. Yesterday I got the corrected script in English thanks to
ichiban_victory , who being very helpfull, edited it. Still, it isn't ready yet. Apparentely some virus infected the server and now, if you make a research on Google, "What if?" homepage appears with a note that says "This site may harm your computer"... Therefore I had to contact with Fortunecity.com admis in order to solve this problem. I just cannot update if the website is like that.
This update is going to be 20 pages, instead the usual 10 pages, and it's the end of Chapter-4th. Still, the most notorious thing is I'm using MangaStudio for drawing this. Thanks to prettio , who gave me some clues about how this program works, I've started to darw this using Manga Studio. Of course I keep using Photoshop for other things; there are certain things that cannot be done with MStudio.
But I wish I'd use this program earlier, or at least I should have got it years ago. It's far more easier to draw comics with it.
Just take a look about how page-170 progressed...
This is the page barely sketched with one of the calligraphic nibs...
You can see how clean the lines are...
Now, the same page with more details done with different brushes and screentones.
The globes aren't MStudio's, but somewhere else. I haven't found how to make globes with that program, yet.
And finally the finished page!
It's hard to mix up Photoshop effects with MagaStudio' screentones. Finding the balance is hard... but I cannot draw the pages using only MangaStudio screentones; not when the rest of the story isn't done with that technicle.
And well, I hope to solve the virus problem soon. Now, only one page remain, and perhaps a new cover ;-)
