Work & School
So while it's not an amazing Job, I have been somewhat enjoying working at Torrid.
However I have no illusions about spend the rest of my life there. Um.. no. I have bigger aspirations in my life, thank you.
That being said I've been sending out my Resume out and about, to find something better. But also, and more importantly (to me that is..) I've been checking out the JC's Pastry Chef program. Now I talked to my Manager about it, and she wasn't exactly THAT helpful. She suggested me taking classes that only happen on two days out of the week and requesting those days off, NOT requesting only being able to work after a certain time.
Problem? Almost NONE of the program's classes work that way. Also for the Financial aid I want to go for I need to have at least 12 units. Erg... This is going to be an issue. So I need to figure a few things out. I'm not certain I can swing both working and taking those classes. However not making money is right out. Kevin is going to school, and I'm really the only one making any money soo......
Balls.
I suppose what I can do is wait until Kevin is done with his program next year, and then go to school Full time. That might have to be the way it goes...
