Happy Days
It's been a wonderful day, despite the over 100 degree weather. I finished midterms, did wonderfully on my poetry assignments, and didn't have any headaches/stomachaches/general tiredness from spring-time pollen. And, I got wonderful news from the TV: California just legalized same-sex marriages!

I just adore this state. Of course, there is a bee hive in the government buildings, and the conservatives are pissed and showing it on TV. They're trying to put through legislation that illegalizes gay marriages again this November. But it's been done. The precedent is set. For at least 3 months, people who love each other can actually get married. :}
I'm waiting to see how many of my professors and friends announce they are going to get married. ;)
