Earthquake in Class!
My 5th Earthquake!!!
And, more importantly, my 1st in America. Everyone is okay, so don't worry.
You might have seen it on the news now: it was a 5.6, epicenter in San Jose, 2 miles north away from my mom's work. (She's interested to see what her shelves look like in her office). They are a little worried it is a precursor to a bigger earthquake: let me tell you, we're going to be going through earthquake drills at home.
It happened at 8:05 PM, during my Spanish 1 class-- and we got out early. ;)
We don't get snow, we don't get lightning, but earthquakes are definitely impressive.
