Trading one nerdly pursuit for another, at the expense of my bank account...
Just a quick little update about where things are right now. I know I probably owe people details but ugh, I just can't bring myself to care that hard. At a friend's house currently as I still have no internet at my own place.
I have a job now, just started earlier this week. It's so boring, but easy. And it pays. Of course, I waited a little too long I think. My first paycheck isn't until next Friday, and rent/bills are due shortly after that. I did some quick calculations and my first check with what little I have left in the bank...might cover it.
I will admit, this is a bit of a trap of my own making and I feel kind of stupid about it. I know I wanted to take a little bit of a vacation before I jumped back into work but I waited too long. (curse you World of Warcraft! Argh! I lost a month to you!)
So, everyone keep their fingers crossed for me that my finances can hold out? After this month as long as I spend very carefully I should have enough to cover bills from now on. It's just...these next few weeks might be iffy. So, yeah. Send a little extra mojo my way pleez.
But whatever. Money woes wah wah wah. Otherwise my life is going pretty well. I can't complain too much. I'll probably make a more detailed post about other stuff later. For now I think I'm going to continue being really, extremely, painfully nerdy and write some more of my Halo/Metroid fanfiction. (it will work, I swear! I've done research! Just you wait and see!)
