Why do I keep discovering new music on a daily basis lately?

Funny typos are funny. I wasn't even looking for that at all. But there it was and I just had to click the 'Play' button. Will now continue to be irritated by the fact that their music is unobtainable because they're from freaking Australia.

There sure is some truth in the saying that god made Australia last because he was bored with all the usual shit. He certainly gave the people there a whole lot of talent.
I think the only thing he made after that was Perchtoldsdorf.

sphinxofthenile, I got your Nova Rock ticket today! I'm sorry I didn't say anything in advance but it was sort of a spontaneous trip. The rain stopped for once and I took the chance to hop down to the ticket sales point without getting soaking wet ;)
But I checked the prices beforehand and it's still 109 €.

I had a very inappropriate realisation on the bus today.
I just realised that QOTSA are the picture-perfect soundtrack for the character of Tyki Mikk. Screwed-up, bad to the bone, creepy, flirtatious and hellishly sexy. Even the radical differences of slow and sensual vs. fast-paced, powerful and kicking-so-much-ass-it's-not-even-funny between the individual songs fit him.
I had this epiphany while listening to You Got A Killer Scene There, Man on the bus, sitting next to an old lady whom I believe I scarred for life by suddenly grinning deviously and starting to giggle to myself.
This thought continued to amuse me all the way to the ticket sales point and back to the office. It still makes me grin. It also makes me all tingly.
Only problem is now, every time Tyki shows up in the manga or the anime I expect QOTSA to play and it doesn't. Very irritating.
Still. It's fucking perfect.

Is this normal? IDK. I'm a nutjob *headdesk*
