YARD SALE!
We're cleaning up around my household. Over the last couple of months, the hub and I have been setting aside things to put in a yard sale. This weekend was our first of two yard sales, the next one will be later in August to prepare us to put the ol' homestead on the market.
It has been a long time since I have had a yard sale or even been yard saling. There were clearly things that I was not prepared for:
The best part was my neighbor saw me out, brought some of her own crap down and we had good company the whole time. For once, I saw an advantage to living in a townhouse. All in all, it was a good day, we made $200 for a bunch of crap we probably would have otherwise thrown away.

- Getting up at the crack of dawn so the hub could put the signs out
- Even though the signs say we open at 8, people show up at 6:45...A.M.!
- A box of assorted computer parts will sell
- People will try to talk you down on an item that is already marked at .50 cents
