birthday/xmas
busy weekend..
my birthday on friday(dec22) was great. i went to a bar called the Empire. there was..myself, laura, dan, dan's friend (can't remember his name. oops haha), natalie, brad, matt, steph, eric, kyle and mike. i had a friggen blast! had manymany drinks and shots and got really drunk. did lots of dancing too! *shakes booty*
the day after, on saturday(dec23), my mom got a hotel suit for me and some friends. she blew up a whole wack of balloons and had veggie, cheese and fruit platters, chocolate fondue, shrimp cocktail and gummy worms! and more booze! haha i love my mom. there was myself, laura, ashley and fayth. (and my mom and her friend). we drank, went swimming, drank s'more, went to a pub attached to the hotel and had lotsa fun. at least i did!.
on sunday (dec24), i hung out at my mom's. then we went to her husband's family supper thing in the evening. which was pretty boring cause i didn't know anyone. that whole side of the family is all new to me cause my mom and blair have only been married for 2 and a half years.
yesterday (xmas), my mom, blair, his son kyle and myself went ice fishing. me and my mom in one ice shack, blair and kyle in another they also had their ski-doos out cruisin around. it was fun. we got lots of nibbles, but no actual bites. the fish were just playin with our hooks. although i did get one bite, but it got away just before it got to the hole in the ice. oh well.
today i'm just chillin mostly. i went shopping this morning..it was friggen insane! it was't too bad when i first got there at like 10, but closer to noon it just started to get crazy with huge line ups and i could barely walk around. so i left. it reminded me of back in highschool when the hallways would be jam packed between classes. but i got some good deals! i got one shirt for $3 (reg. $35) hahaha! it was awesome! i also got a hair cut. nothing special, just a trim.
i got 2 gifts for xmas...
- from my aunt and uncle i got a $25 gift cert to Earl's restaurant
- from my dad and stepmom...they're going to pay for my plane ticket to germany!!! :D :D :D (i was so shocked/happy that i cried a little bit haha)
(with the rest of my family, we've agreed not to do gift exchange cause it gets too expensive)
i'm gonna go watch a movie now. ta!
