so i had to take my mom to he hospital this afternoon. we were at her rental house picking up a bbq that the lst tenants had left behind. we were lifting it up into the back of the van and the lid flipped open and my mom's finger got caught and squished inbetween where the hinges of the lid are. at first it just seemed like her finger was just stuck cause she didn't feel pain at first and so when i lifted up the lid to get her finger out, we saw it and it was her index finger on her left hand. it was squished pretty flat and on the side from the tip to the middle knuckle, it was ripped right open. it was sick. so we rushed to the hospital.
we only waited about half an hour before we saw the doctor. i was watching him get the finger ready for stiches and he was about to give the needle to freeze it and i started to get all nauseated and dizzy. i thought i was gonna pass out. it was really gross. i think she got 3 or 4 stiches.
i felt so bad for her. she was in so much pain :(
