Ok, so I am sleeping soundly when suddenly I am startled awake. I know something has woken me up, but I have no idea what.
Then I hear it - a loud, forceful pounding on the door followed by "Open the door!"
I am scared at first not knowing who is saying this and who it is being said to. I lie in bed for a moment only to hear it again, more forceful pounding, and "I said, OPEN THE DOOR!!"
I slowly get out of bed, peeking out of my blinds to see where the voice is coming from, trying to locate my pajama pants in my mind.
I hear another pounding on the door, even louder than before and again someone yelling, "OPEN THE FREAKING DOOR!"
I hear a door open from an apartment beside me, I'm not sure which one, so I look over to the left unable to see anything, and a little comforted by knowing they aren't wanting me when I hear the words, "POLICE DEPARTMENT! OPEN THE DOOR, NOW!"
My eyes dart from side to side, up and down trying to locate a police car. I look toward Chad's apartment and see a police car parked with only it's parking lights on. Then I see a shadowy figure moving down closer to my apartment. There he is a cop standing right across the road in front of Gwen's apartment.
"I knew it! I knew she sold some kind of drugs! I never liked her, since the time she hit on my daddy the day I moved in." I thought this is my head, I was still trying to be as quiet as possible, so I would remain undetected and be able to watch at the same time.
Finally, the door opens. "What do you want?" I hear an extremely slurred voice say. It's a man, not Gwen after all.
"Her husband finally found out she cheats on him." I think remembering all the stories from Kayla about Gwen and knowing from first hand she likes to push herself on people.
The police officer tries to get the man to come outside, he refuses with the words, "You come inside. I'm not coming out there." Guess what? The police officer wins, just about the time 4 other officers come around the corner of the apartment building from the right (my left).
"Fucking bitches! All of you! What'd I do?! Bitches! Fuck you!" the drunk man yells as the pull him to the sidewalk outside of the apartment.
"Stop fighting me!"
"I'm not fighting you, man. I'm not fighting you!" the drunk man replies to the cop as he is slammed on the hood of his own truck.
A conversation between the policemen and the man take place, while two more officers go inside to talk to Gwen, I'm sure. After awhile all cops are standing on the side walk talking to the man.
"I just got back from Iraq two weeks ago. I was over there for 2 1/2 years. What do I come back to? Her.... She's stolen $200,000 from me." This I believe since she just recently got upgraded from a C cup to a DD. "It's hard being over there," he continues, "I admit I did wrong, but I don't want to be treated liked a criminal."
They take the handcuffs off of him and he agreeably walks down the sidewalk to the awaiting police car with it's parking lights on. A few minutes pass, the car does a perfectly performed three point turn and leaves. There is another policeman walking down the sidewalk toward Gwen's apartment. He rings the doorbell and opens the door, says a few words and leaves.
Now the little white Miada that I can't stand pulls into the parking lot, with a lot of noise and no idea how to park. I watch it try to park, finally giving up after two or three turn-arounds, it puts it in park and I hear the emergency break being pulled, Gwen's daughter gets out of the car and walks inside. Before I am even done typing this she comes back outside, gets in her little piece of shit, and drives away, faster than she's ever driven before in her life; I wouldn't have ridden her ass as close as I did the day she flipped me off for tail-gating her if she had driven like that on that particular day.
