Does anyone trust the weatherman?
Woohoo! On Thursday I am going to visit my parents in Florida, where it is hot, sunny, and not windy - the complete opposite of England at the moment. The sunshine is meant to continue through the two weeks I'm there which makes me so happy I almost can't speak. I can barely remember the last time I got to wear summer clothes. I've compensated by trying to pack every single tank top/t-shirt/skirt that I own, along with three bathing suits and three pairs of sandals. I had to sit on the bloody suit case to get it closed - immediately afterward I remembered I'd left out a few things such as underwear, toiletries, and other things which don't seem necessary til you need them. Now I have to go repack. Naturally I'm playing on my computer and having some wine before I attempt this.
