In Which I Suck Up...

Hellllo lovely internets people. I have been quite remiss in the updating of my journal lately, but that's mostly because I've had nothing fun to post. Well, I guess I could have posted a play-by-play of my daily routine, but it seems an awful lot like: class, work, class, work, class, class, work, work. Throw an occasional fanfic foray in there and you've got a slightly abridged version of my life (heavy emphasis on the "slightly"). Not complaining, just saying, nothing exciting to report here.

I think I may start posting my fandom thoughts of the day even without a post though. Because I've had a couple people say they like them, and I like them, so there's no reason not to! Today's big deal (for me at least) was the latest Farm In Iowa story, The Ballad of the Lincoln Cafe that
sheafrotherdon posted (HOORAY!) So, to celebrate that...

Your fandom thought of the day: "And you assume I have nothing better to do than to fly to the middle of Praise the Lord It's Corn for Dinner-ville and see the local yokels whack spoons against their knees?" ~Rodney (in A Farm In Iowa by
sheafrotherdon)

Haha, in the first story Rodney totally insults John's ability to father children. Don't think he's doing that so often anymore, eh?
