My Muse

My muse never lasts very long, but here for the purpose of reminding me in the future are the ideas that I was thinking of starting to write...but writing requires me to get over this thing I have about showing other people the things I write...ugh...

First and foremost, the Daily Show/SGA crossover, which totally doesn't sound like it would work, BUT IT WILL! Do not worry my friends, I have an idea. Anyways, that came up because I watched some SGA panel where they were asked what series they'd like to crossover with and Joe Flanigan's answer was: "I'd love to crossover with the Daily Show."

Second, a story to go with the lyric "Cause now we say goodnight, from our own separate sides, like brothers on a hotel bed." (that's from Death Cab for Cutie). Why? Maybe because I spent just a little too much time in the car by myself listening to my iPod...This idea may never actually be written, because doesn't it sound extremely depressing? And I like happy endings, but I could possibly swing it. The whole reason I wanted to do it in the first place is because of the vivid image that lyric gave me the other night and I got this whole plot, but still, depression?

Third, I like to read plot, but I'd like to do a series of vignettes or character studies or something to get into it. I haven't written these guys (or fiction in general) in a long time except for my own sick amusement...I might be a little rusty to just sit down and pump out some huge plotty amazing epic piece. Not that I expect I'll ever do that. But if I could that would make me mucho happy because that's what I love!

Fourth, I don't know if I have any more solid ideas, but like I mentioned above I'd like to think of something semi-plotty to write. Plotty makes me a happy girl.

OK, ideas out, all set there then.
