You know I make it a point to not really ever bitch about work anymore. But...
We all bid for shifts at work. The more seniority you have the better shift you get, generally. Everyone was, of course, going around and around about what shift they were going to get. It's like this every bid. I am automatically looking and the bid and telling myself, great, I'm fucked, so I picked what I wanted and had my mind set on what I was going to get. Then everyone suddenly decides they're going to take something different and 2 different lines open that I might actually be able to take, I have hope! Then bidding comes around and everyone goes right back to originally planned. Fucking great. So I am stuck with a shift with 3 different start times with Thursday, Friday off.
Monday: 2030-0200
Tuesday: 1630-2200
Wednesday: 1630-2200
Thursday: Off
Friday: Off
Saturday: 1430-2000
Sunday: 2030-0200
Yep. Sucks. Like I said though, I knew I was going to be screwed, I only have 4 people underneath me in seniority.
